The magazine
Never Too Small Magazine is a quarterly print publication dedicated to compact living, architecture, and intelligent small-space design. Each issue profiles award-winning architects and their projects from around the world — apartments, micro-dwellings, and the thinking that makes small spaces feel genuinely generous. Four issues a year, delivered worldwide.
The YouTube channel and the magazine are complementary, not duplicates. The channel brings you into spaces through video. The magazine goes deeper: extended architect profiles, process photography, editorial essays, and curated design thinking that exists nowhere else. The two are made to be experienced together.
Four. Never Too Small is a quarterly magazine, with issues published in February, May, August, and November.
Never Too Small Magazine is printed in Australia to a high production standard. Paper stock, printing quality, and binding are selected to make the magazine feel like an object worth keeping.
The magazine is a print-first publication. Digital editions are not currently available for sale. A PDF reader for selected back issues is available to subscribers at nevertoosmall.com. Companion editorial content is published freely at nevertoosmall.com.
Subscriptions
The NTS Sub Club is our subscriber community. Sub Club members receive every new issue with free worldwide shipping, a 10% discount on all NTS books and digital products, and entry into subscriber giveaways from partner design brands. Subscriptions are billed on a rolling basis and can be cancelled at any time.
Pay Per Issue — billed quarterly at $30 USD / $40 AUD / €25 / £20 per issue. Continues until cancelled.
Pay Annually — four issues paid upfront at $120 USD / $160 AUD / €100 / £80. Renews annually.
Both plans include free worldwide shipping on every issue.
Your subscription starts with the next upcoming issue, provided you subscribe before the cut-off date. Subscribers who join after the cut-off receive the following issue.

Subscribers receive free worldwide shipping on every issue — single issues attract a shipping charge. You also receive a 10% discount on NTS books and digital products, and entry into subscriber giveaways. Issues can and do sell out. Subscribing is the only way to guarantee you receive every one.
Yes. Pay Per Issue subscriptions are billed quarterly on an ongoing basis. Annual subscriptions renew after 12 months. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time at account.nts-store.com.
Yes. Subscriptions can be paused through the account portal at account.nts-store.com. If an issue has already been dispatched by the time you pause, the pause takes effect from the following issue.
Yes, at any time. If your issue has already been dispatched before you cancel, you will receive that issue and the subscription will end before the next billing cycle. Cancel at account.nts-store.com or contact support@nevertoosmall.com with your order number.
No further payments will be taken and you will not receive any subsequent issues. Access to the 10% subscriber discount ends upon cancellation.
Yes. Contact support@nevertoosmall.com and we will help you switch plans. Any timing implications will be discussed with you before the change is made.
If you cancel within 14 days of your subscription start date and before your first issue has been dispatched, we will issue a full refund. Once an issue has been dispatched, that issue is non-refundable. After the 14-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable.
Billing and payments
We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express — and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments.
Log in to your account at account.nts-store.com, navigate to Payment Methods, and add or update your card details. Changes apply to your next billing cycle.
If a payment fails, we will retry the card on file and send you an email asking you to update your payment details at account.nts-store.com. If the payment cannot be recovered before the dispatch window, your issue for that cycle may not be sent. Resolve your payment details promptly to avoid missing an issue.
Please contact support@nevertoosmall.com with your order number and the date of cancellation. We will investigate and process a refund where a charge has been made in error.
An order confirmation is sent automatically to your registered email address after every transaction. If you require a specific invoice format for business or tax purposes, contact accounts@nevertoosmall.com with your order number.
Prices shown in USD, AUD, GBP, and EUR are exclusive of any applicable local taxes. Any taxes due will be displayed at checkout before payment is taken.
Print magazines are generally exempt from import duties in most countries, but customs policies vary by jurisdiction. Any duties or taxes imposed by your country's customs authority are the responsibility of the recipient. Never Too Small has no control over customs charges.
Delivery and shipping
Magazines are dispatched via AusPost (Australia and New Zealand), USPS (United States), Deutsche Post (Europe, Canada, Mexico, and rest of world), and Royal Mail (United Kingdom).

These are indicative ranges. Delivery times can be affected by local postal conditions, customs processing, and seasonal factors outside our control.
Yes. All NTS Sub Club subscriptions include free worldwide shipping on every issue.
Yes. Single issues can be purchased from nts-store.com and shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location.
If your magazine has not arrived within the estimated delivery window for your region, contact support@nevertoosmall.com with your order number. Please allow the full delivery window to pass before reporting a missing issue. Claims must be submitted within 60 days of the dispatch date.
Email support@nevertoosmall.com with your order number and a photograph of the damage. We will arrange a replacement copy.
Update your delivery address at account.nts-store.com. Please update your address before the billing date for the next issue. If an issue has already been dispatched to a previous address, we cannot redirect it with the carrier — contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Yes, in most regions. Some carriers are unable to deliver to PO Boxes in certain circumstances. If you experience a delivery issue related to your PO Box, contact support@nevertoosmall.com.
Your account
Everything is managed at account.nts-store.com, including cancellation, address updates, payment method changes, and pausing.
Visit account.nts-store.com and select Forgot Password. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
Email support@nevertoosmall.com from your current registered email address requesting the change. We will update it and confirm once done.
Log in to your account at account.nts-store.com and your full order history will be displayed in your account dashboard.
Gift subscriptions
Yes. NTS Gift Subscriptions are available in the store. A 4-issue gift subscription can be purchased and the recipient will receive a personalised gift notification by email, with their magazine delivered to their address for each issue.
At checkout, you provide the recipient's name, email address, delivery address, and an optional personal message. The recipient receives a gift notification from Never Too Small on your behalf. Each of the four issues is posted to their address. You are billed once at the time of purchase.
No. Gift subscriptions run for four issues only and do not renew automatically. At the end of the gift period, the recipient will receive an invitation to continue their subscription in their own name and at their own cost.
Yes. Gift subscriptions include free worldwide shipping to the recipient's address.
The recipient notification email is sent automatically following your order. If the recipient has not received their notification within 24 hours, please contact support@nevertoosmall.com with your order number and we will resend it manually.
Delayed gift notification is not currently supported. The notification is sent immediately on order. If you would like to time the notification for a particular occasion, we recommend purchasing on the date you would like the recipient to be notified.
Back issues and single issues
Yes. Back issues are available while stocks last at nts-store.com. Some back issues are also available through selected stockists worldwide. When a back issue sells out, it is gone permanently.

Back issues are available in the store while stocks last. Subscribing before the cut-off date is the only way to guarantee you receive every issue.
Yes. Subscribe at nts-store.com/collections/subscribe. Your subscription will start with the next upcoming issue from the cut-off date for which you subscribe.
Books and digital products
Never Too Small has published two books, both available at nts-store.com. Sub Club members receive a 10% discount on all books.
Never Too Small publishes digital design guides on compact living, intelligent small-space design, and related topics. These are available from the store and are discounted for subscribers.
Books are dispatched from Australia. Estimated delivery times are the same as for the magazine. International orders may incur import duties depending on your country's customs regulations.
Books and all print products are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or faulty. If your order arrives damaged, email support@nevertoosmall.com with a photograph and your order number and we will arrange a replacement.
Wholesale and stockists
Yes. Worldwide wholesale and distribution is handled exclusively by Ra & Olly. More information is available at nevertoosmall.com/utm/magazine-wholesale.
